Bill Clinton said that Hillary Clinton’s recent comments that she was “dead broke” following his presidency did not mean his wife was out of touch. “It is factually true that we were several million dollars in debt,” Clinton said. He told “Meet the Press” moderator David Gregory at a Clinton Global Initiative event that his wife “advocated and worked as a senator for things that were good for ordinary people.”
