9-Year-Old Flies Alone From Minneapolis to Las Vegas Without Boarding Pass

A 9-year-old boy made it past TSA officials and gate agents without a boarding pass at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and flew to Las Vegas alone, an airport official said Sunday. The boy was screened at security during the initial leg of his trip on Thursday, said airport spokesman Patrick Hogan. Security camera tapes showed that the child then managed to board a Delta flight undetected, Hogan said. The TSA released a statement that said, β€œThe child was screened along with all other passengers to ensure that he was not a threat to the aircraft."
