One Injured in 2-Car Crash on Northbound I-15

One person was injured in a two-crash on northbound Interstate 15 north of Mira Mesa Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened shortly after noon after a motorist called to report a person weaving in and out of lanes, CHP Officer Tommy Doerr said.

It was unclear if it was the same person, he said.

The victim was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with "non-urgent" injuries, San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Monica Munoz said.

A SigAlert was issued at 12:41 p.m. and one lane of traffic was blocked until further notice, the CHP said.
