Southwest is officially saying "sayonara" to it's senior discount.
The Dalls-based airline reported to ConsumerAffairs it decided to "sunset the Senior Fare option," adding many of the same benefits are available to all customers through other discount options.
It remains to be seen whether other airlines will follow suit.
American and United both have senior discounts programs in place.
