SDSU Peeping Tom Sought

Police said suspect peeked underneath a bathroom stall while a woman was inside

Police are looking for a peeping tom who was spotted in a women’s bathroom at San Diego State University Wednesday afternoon.

According to investigators, at around 3:40 p.m. an unknown male entered a restroom located on the first floor of Hepner Hall at the SDSU campus. The man looked underneath a bathroom stall and stared at a female victim inside for two to three seconds before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

The peeping tom is described as a light-skinned white male in his 40s or 50s. He has light eyes was wearing a red and black hat during the incident.

Police urge those in the SDSU community to stay alert and report all suspicious activities as a safety precaution. Anyone with information should contact the SDSU Police Department at 619-594-1991 or Crime Stoppers at 619-235-8477.
