San Diego police are looking for a woman who was expected home on Wednesday but never arrived.
Denise Dutcher called family members to let them know she was lost but would try and find her way home.
Dutcher was traveling south toward Mexico, in the opposite direction of her home, San Diego police officers said.
Her last contact was at approximately 10:30 a.m., according to her son.
Officers said the last cell tower that connected to her mobile phone is located in San Ysidro.
Police considered Dutcher, who is 88, an at-risk individual because she has recently been exhibiting signs of dementia.
As of 2:30 p.m., Dutcher had been located and was reunited with her family, police said.
