Pregnant Woman Threatened in Road Rage Incident: SDPD

An alleged road rage incident between two drivers ends with a man accused of bashing a windshield with a golf club and a pregnant woman transported to a hospital, San Diego Police confirmed Wednesday.

Officers were called to El Cajon Boulevard and 54th Street just before 11 a.m. Tuesday for an argument between two drivers.

Russell Woodhouse, 27, was with his wife when a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman moved in front of their car, police said.

Woodhouse drove in front of the other vehicle and stopped his car, according to an SDPD officer.

He then allegedly grabbed a golf club and hit the pregnant woman's windshield, police said.

The pregnant driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, police said.

Woodhouse faces an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
