All lanes of State Route 78 in Santa Ysabel have reopened following a 5-hour closure prompted by an overturned septic tanker, according to Caltrans.
Caltrans first reported the crash at around 2:34 p.m. and east and westbound lanes of the highway east of Cabrillo Street were immediately shut down and a Sig Alert was issued.
California Highway Patrol officers established one-way traffic control at around 7 p.m., and both lanes were open around 40 minutes later.
No injuries were reported.
