Bicyclists will have a new path to travel between City Heights and Mission Valley, beginning Wednesday.
Caltrans, SANDAG, and the City of San Diego will open the SR-15 Commuter Bikeway.
The newly constructed protected bikeway runs parallel to State Route 15.
It will provide a connection to several communities, including Normal Heights, Kensington, and Talmadge.
