A fight between neighbors ended with minor injuries when one neighbor attacked the other with hedge clippers, Escondido Police officials said.
The dispute happened at approximately 1:31 p.m. Wednesday on the 2400 block of Fallbrook Place in Escondido, Escondido Police Lt. Owens said.
The two got into a fight over hedges on the property, Owens said.
At one point, a 73-year-old man used hedge clippers to attack his 53-year-old neighbor, causing minor cut injuries.
The 53-year-old responded by throwing a punch at the 73-year-old, police said.
No one is pressing charges at this time, Owens said.
Police say the two neighbors have a history of not getting along.
