Three women were fighting for thier lives Sunday after a head-on collision in Clairemont.
One of the women was driving a white car in the 3800 block of Clairemont Boulevard, when she crossed over the lane and hit a car with two other women in it. The woman driving the white car passed out for an unknown reason, said firefighters on scene.
It took firefighters nearly half an hour to cut the victims out of their cars using the jaws of life. The victims were all rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
