San Diego police are investigating after a person discovered a handgun under the seat of a rental car.
Officers were called to SeaWorld San Diego just after 11 a.m. after a person reported finding the 9 mm Glock under the seat of the rental car.
Police said the car was rented elsewhere and driven to the theme park, just north of downtown San Diego.
The driver called 911 from the parking lot, police said.
Officers said there was never a threat to the park.
It is unclear who owns the gun.
No further information was available.
