The three final candidates to succeed Stephen Weber as president of San Diego State University will visit the campus next week.
Weber has served as the SDSU president for 15 years. The California State University Chancellor's Office is expected to name his successor during the week of May 9.
Elliot Hirshman, provost and senior vice president of University of Maryland, will be on campus on Monday.
Steven Leath, vice president for research and sponsored programs from the University of North Carolina system, will make a Tuesday visit.
Paul J. Zingg, president of California State University, will come next Thursday.
Each will hold an open, public forum at 4:30 p.m. on the day of his visit.
