Driver Crashed Into Paradise Hills Home

A hit-and-run driver crashed into a home in Paradise Hills early Wednesday.

The resident said he was in the yard, when a car crashed into the fence, barely missing the bedroom where his daughter and granddaughter sleep.

It happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Morton Way.

The grandfather said the driver got out of his car, refused medical attention and walked away.

Police tracked down the driver through the car's license plate.

Officers arrested the driver at his mother's house. Officers also arrested the driver's mother for resisting police.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for a minor cut to his head.
