A child was struck by a car in Mira Mesa San Diego police confirmed.
The accident happened around 5:10 p.m. Thursday night at the intersection of Libra and Polaris.
The child suffered a minor injury and has been transported to the hospital.
The child was reported to be crying and breathing when police arrived.
