A car crashed into the side of a home in a Mira Mesa cul-de-sac Thursday, rupturing a gas line and prompting police to evacuate that home and another.
The car hit the side of a house at 11095 kite Hill Lane just before 5 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
A San Diego Gas and Electric crew was called to the home and was repairing the broken line, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
No injuries were reported.
