Police are investigating a suspicious death after a man's body was found lying in the middle of a Rancho Bernardo street late Thursday.
The body was found on Cresta Drive, near the intersection of Pomerado and Rancho Bernardo roads, just before midnight.
Police said they didn't see any skid marks on the street or anything else that would indicate the man was hit by a car.
The San Diego Police Department considered the death suspicious but did not detail the circumstances surrounding the death.
Investigators are waiting to hear from the Medical Examiner's Office on the man's cause fo death.
