The Balboa Park Conservancy announced Tuesday that it has merged with Balboa Park Central.
The new organization is also named the Balboa Park Conservancy and will maintain and enhance the beauty of the historic park.
Balboa Park Central was established in 1923 to market the park.
Together with the City of San Diego, The Balboa Park Conservancy co-hosts Balboa Park December Nights which will serve as the opening and closing of the 2015 Centennial Celebration.
