Officers called to a Mission Bay scene Sunday didn't expect this jaywalking perpetrator.
A sea lion washed ashore near SeaWorld San Diego Sunday amid heavy rainfall and started to wander nearby San Diego streets.
Authorities said the female pup was one of the seven sea lions SeaWorld released into the ocean Saturday. Of the seven, he was the only one to swim back north to SeaWorld.
Seaworld rescue officials were called to the scene to rescue the sea lion. SeaWorld will take care of the animal a little longer before releasing her into the wild again.
