A man suffered from a gunshot wound in Escondido Tuesday night, the Escondido Police Department confirmed.
The incident happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. on the 700 block of Pine Street near W 8th Avenue.
Police say they recieved multiple reports of gunshots in the area.
At least one person suffered a gunshot wound, possibly to the chest. He was transported to Palomar Hospital.
There is no information about a suspect or possible motive.
No other information was immediately available.
