One person has been detained following a stabbing in Spring Valley, San Diego County Sheriff's officials (SDSO) said.
The incident happened on the 8000 block of Valencia Street in Spring Valley, deputies said.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene after a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
When officials arrived, they found one man suffering from injuries. He was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
One person has been detained in connection with the crime.
