A man said a would-be buyer of his iPhone 6 cell phones brandished a handgun and robbed him on his front porch in a Mount Hope neighborhood, police said.
Police said the situation was reported just after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of 41st Street. The victim had posted that he wanted to sell two iPhone 6s online and told the interested buyer to meet him on his front porch.
The victim intended to sell one of the phones for $600.
After he showed the iPhones, the suspect took out a black handgun and threatened to shoot victim if he didn’t hand over the phones, police said.
After seizing the phones, the suspect took off and police are continuing to search for him.
A suspect description wasn't immediately available.
