Zoo Visitors Victimized by Car Break-Ins

Visitors at the San Diego Zoo have fallen prey to a pair of burglars, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

Police are looking for two women accused of breaking into two parked cars in the zoo parking lot Sunday, Nov. 7 between 1 and 5 p.m.

Within hours of the crime, credit cards taken from one car were used at several stores in San Diego including Target in Mission Valley, according to a Crime Stoppers news release.

Images of the unidentified women were captured on the store surveillance video camera.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
