7-Foot Waves a Surfer's Paradise in San Diego

National Weather Service warns of rip currents

On top of the perfect, summer-like weather in San Diego Wednesday afternoon, beaches are also serving up a slice of paradise.

Waves could hit up to seven feet, with the average floating between four and six feet.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for San Diego, according to National Weather Service.

NWS warns there will be dangerous rip currents on Wednesday.

That wonโ€™t be the end of big surf for San Diegans โ€“ NWS also stated another round of waves is expected for Thursday to Saturday. But this second swell is likely to be much larger.
