San Diego County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run crash that damaged several parked cars in a Vista apartment complex Sunday.
Deputies were called to the 1400 block of Oak Drive around 8:30 p.m. after witnesses said an SUV driver hit the gas instead of the brake and crashed into the carport -- damaging four cars.
There were two people in the car at the time of the crash. A man fled the scene and a woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. No word on her injuries or her condition.
