Here are our top nine most shared Facebook posts of 2017. 

After months of severe drought, the San Diego County Water Authority declared the drought over in our county. Many San Diegans, doing their best to conserve water, were excited to learn about the news. 

"Come Together," read a powerful message on the sand in Mission Beach, created as dozens of children stood together. 

After Hurricane Harvey, more than 100 pets were brought to San Diego from Louisiana. In this video, we get our first look at some of those cuties now available for adoption. 

Southern California doesn't always get a lot of rain. But when it does, SoCal residents know how to take advantage of the situation. In this video, shared thousands of times, a Palm Springs resident was spotted floating down a flooded street in a giant rubber ducky. 

Another video of Californians enjoying the rainy weather quickly became one of our most-shared videos: one local riding his boogie board through flooded streets. 

It was a sight that shocked many drivers on one of San Diego's busiest highways: a sinkhole flooding Interstate 8. Video captured by an NBC 7 viewer showed some of the spraying water just as the pipe burst.

Who can forget the time the Chargers left San Diego for Los Angeles? At one event, a fan lit their Chargers banner on fire, prompting the security guard to rush in and stop the flames. 

This spring, thousands of San Diegans were excited to learn more about a new three-day Disneyland pass for Southern California residents. 

It's one of those classic San Diego traditions: the Carlsbad flower fields, blooming every spring. This year, we got an aerial look at the stunning flowers and beautiful array of colored blooms before they opened.
