Daylight Saving Time Is Now

Did you set you clocks forward 1 hour overnight?

Sunday is the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST), which means if you haven't set your clocks forward you'll need to get going.

Yes, that means the clock in the car too.

The change in time pushes sunset later in order to give most people more daylight during the working hours of spring, summer and fall.  Except for those in Arizona and Hawaii, as DST is not observed in those states.

Early risers, however, will be in the dark longer with sunrise pushed back to 7:24 a.m.

Sunset Sunday night will be at 7:12 p.m.

Daylight Saving Time is observed this year until 2 a.m. Nov. 4, when clocks will be pushed back one hour to allow for more daylight in the winter.

So, until then, enjoy a little extra boost of Vitamin D.
