After a short chase Sunday evening, Harbor Police stopped a vehicle towing a boat for vehicle code violations, but soon found out the real reason he was running away.
Nearly 600 pounds of marijuana were found in the boat.
Dejesus Brualio, 31, ran away from the officers along Rosecrans St. and was found a short time later and arrested. The passenger, Jacyln Cisneros, also 31, was arrested at the scene.
Both are in custody on several charges including transportation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. They are both scheduled to make their first court appearances Wednesday afternoon.
