A man was shot five times by his wife's ex-boyfriend Friday night -- and lived.
The shooting happened just after 10 p.m. on Orleck Street in Tierrasanta. Police say a woman's ex-boyfriend got into a fight with her current husband. The ex-boyfriend then shot the husband with a handgun.
The suspect took off in a blue mini-van, he was spotted by officers. Units followed the suspect to the eastbound 94 highway at Spring Street. The vehicle stopped and the suspect was taken into custody.
