An empty San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus and a semi-truck collided on Interstate 805 during rush hour Wednesday, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
The crash happened at approximately 6:06 p.m. Wednesday when officers received a call for crash, at northbound I-805 and Murray Ridge.
The bus swerved in front of the semi, and then slammed into the guardrail, officers said.
The bus was not carrying any passengers.
CHP officers said it is unclear if anyone suffered injuries.
No other information was immediately available.
