How to Get Tickets to President Barack Obama's Inauguration

Constituents from Districts 49 and 53

San Diegans who wish to get tickets for the Presidential Inauguration in January have a chance if they’re represented by Congressman Darrell Issa or Congresswoman Susan Davis.

President Barack Obama will take the oath of office for a second time on January 21, 2013.

The cities of Carlsbad, Camp Pendleton, Del Mar, Encinitas, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach and Vista are included in the 49th district.

Coronado, Lemon Grove and downtown San Diego neighborhoods are included in Davis' district.

Issa’s office will hand out 198 tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis. Davis's office will give out an undisclosed number of tickets in pairs.

Those interested must complete a ticket request form and fax or scan the form to Issa’s office before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Forms are due to Davis before midnight Monday, on Dec. 2.

There’s a limit of two per household for both representatives.
