Cops: Coach Dealt Coke

A high school lacrosse coach and his fiancee are accused of selling cocaine -- and prosecutors say they also face child abuse charges as a result as well.

Edward Jeziorski, 31, and Brandi Rochelle Linn , 30, both face drug and child endangerment charges.

Jeziorski coached varsity lacrosse at Westview High School in the Poway Unified School District, but his case does not involve any activities at the school, nor were any students involved.

Jeziorski sold cocaine last Thursday to an undercover officer, who allegedly bought a quarter-ounce of blow for $650, according to investigators. Police armed with a search warrant said they found drugs and paraphrenalia inside the couple's apartment, officers said.

"They found some marijuana, some hashish, and, as I menitioned, there was a 2-year-old child, and we believe the 2-year-old had access to the area where the narcotics were kept," prosecutor Michael Zachary said.

Prosecutors said the couple 2-year-old had easy access to the drugs, which is why, they said, both defendants are charged with a count of felony child abuse.

A representative for the school district said Jeziorski, who was a paid walk-on coach, passed a drug test and fingerprint background clearance. He is now on administrative leave.
