There's new royalty in the East County. The City of El Cajon announced the crowning of its new Miss El Cajon over the weekend.
On Saturday, March 27, the Miss El Cajon and Miss Teen El Cajon Scholarship Pageant was held at the East County Performing Arts Center in El Cajon.
More than two dozen women, ages 14 to 26, competed for the titles of Miss and Miss Teen for both El Cajon and Rancho San Diego.
