Three men robbed a Denny’s Restaurant at gunpoint early Friday morning, running away with the cash and leaving two employees injured.
Police were called to the restaurant on 16686 Bernardo Center Dr. in Rancho Bernardo at approximately 3:30 Thursday morning.
The suspects pulled one employee by the hair and punched the other in the face, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The suspects then locked the employees in the office and took cash from the restaurant’s register. The suspects fled the scene on foot wearing dark jackets, blue jeans and ski masks.
The two employees sustained minor injuries.
Police are currently investigating the robbery.
