How to be Smarter than Normal

Forget about being smarter than a fifth grader, what about being smarter than well, normal?

Scientists have developed drugs to help people with developmental disabilities, so it's not a great leap to imagine those same pills being used to help people  be "better than normal."

Question, discuss, debate -- Smart Drugs: How smart are they? on April 1 at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center.

Kick around the science and ethics of drugs that would help boost your intelligence, learning ability and memory. What does it really mean to be smart or smarter? And how or should drug intervention be used to increase learning ability or intelligence.

The program is free but you need reservations. For more information, check out the Fleet Center's website.
