Ever consider plastic surgery to land that new job? Maybe even to be more successful? According to a new study, many women do.
Many American women 18 to 64 years old factor in plastic surgery with success and believe it gives them a competitive edge, according to a study by the American Society of Accor Plastic Surgeons.
About 73 percent (almost three out of four or 84 million working women) believe during these tough economic times, appearance and youthful looks play a part in getting hired, getting a promotion or getting new clients.
The study includes non-invasive as well as the more invasive procedures.
Nearly 3 percent (nearly 3.5 million working women) say they have already had a cosmetic procedure to increase their perceived value in the workplace.
