Last night, tweets were blazing with the twitter hashtag #QC25, for Qualcomm’s 25th anniversary party in Mira Mesa. In celebration of the monumental milestone, over 12,000 employees were treated to a private concert by Dave Matthews and longtime collaborator,Tim Reynolds.
With an estimated $600,000 price tag, a very talkative and loose Dave Matthews ripped through classics including “Dancing Nancies”, “Ants Marching”, “Crush” and “Satellite”. Fireworks and Mira Mar jets -- not part of the celebration -- filled the air as Matthews and Reynolds played for almost two hours.
In the words Qualcomm employee, Christina Schone, “what a memorable night for Qualcomm. Thank you to everyone involved for the experience!”
