The German duo whose “Stolen Dance” hijacked radio last summer are now making a play for your lunch hour on Monday, Aug. 3. Ahead of their Soma show that night, Milky Chance play a free noontime set at Quartyard with openers X Ambassadors. Brought to you by the folks at FM 94/9 and Shock Top, the all-acoustic show has a limited capacity, so admission is going to the early birds -- there are no ticket sales for this one, folks. And there aren’t many tickets left for the Soma show either, so step out of the office early to make sure you get in.
Spending your lunch hour at Quartyard to drink up that Milky Chance goodness doesn’t mean you have to leave your belly aching for sustenance. With S&M Sausage & Meat on retainer and Monday’s food truck lineup including Salt + Lime and That’s What Cheese Said, Quartyard’s got the grub to fill your belly (and brews from their craft beer garden to help with the Monday blues -- go ahead, we won’t tell).
There’s no RSVP, but if you text “LOUD” to 61749, FM 94/9 just might hook you up with some meet and greets -- where you can steal all the dances your heart desires.
Milky Chance and X Ambassadors play Quartyard on Monday, Aug. 3, at 12 p.m. Admission is on a first come, first serve basis. Visit Quartyard's event page for more details.
