Last week it felt like everything was buzzing. Tons of festivals announced lineups and subsequently sold out of tickets, and it felt like we were energized and ready for a big year of music. And then there's kind of a sputter out. After all, this is the first full week back to work for many, and it's back to school for others, so it's gonna hurt. There aren't a ton of options tonight, but the Three One G night at Blonde should be a good occasion to relieve frustration, there's a tribute to blues legend Mose Allison at Dizzy's and Casbah hosts Anti-Monday League, featuring Modern Me, who happen to be the featured local break this month at 91x. Otherwise, you've got the usual fun of trivia, karaoke, metal and motown around town. I promise it will pick up this week.
