Friday, the English Beat headline a sold-out show at the Belly Up; Ben Folds and the San Diego Symphony play at California Center for the Arts, Escondido; Jhene Aiko is at the Observatory North Park; The Amandas take over the Whistle Stop; Taurus Authority hits Panama 66; and Cold Played, bMUSE and tADEO are at the Merrow. Get your dance on with Dimitry Vegas and Like Mike at Omnia; Botnek at Bassmnt; Jeremy Olander at Bang Bang, Haunted House of Mardi Gras at House of Blues; and Hip Hop vs. Punk Rock at Tower Bar.

Start your Saturday with the Vinyl Junkies Record Swap at the Casbah. Later that night, Ben Folds is at Copley Symphony Hall; The English Beat play night two (sold out) at the Belly Up; and Adolescents, Widows, the Touchies and Records with Roger take over the Casbah. Dance with Club Ascension at The Kava Lounge and DJs Dark Angel, Severin, Psychosomatic and yours truly; Gaslamp Mardi Gras; Benni Benassi and Eric D-lux at Omnia; and Whiiite at Bassmnt.

After your super Sunday, Shook Ones with Creative Adult, Super Unison and Atlas will perform at the Ché Café Collective; and Second Cousins, Wicked Man and Adult Films take over Soda Bar.
