Bruddahs Coming to Say Aloha

When you think of Hawaii, you think of sunsets, leis, surfing, hula girls and beer. Well, maybe not the beer. But thatโ€™s what Primo Island Lager wants to change.

The brewer is hosting a series of what it calls โ€œAloha Nightsโ€ along the San Diego coast May 1 โ€“2 to celebrate its โ€œBruddahs.โ€

Check out the calendar, and head over to see some custom cars, comedy and of course taste the beer.

Some of Hawaii's most notorious "Bruddahs" ("brother" or "pal" in Hawaiian pidgin) are coming according to our partners The La Jolla Light:

Keoni Watson, Hawaiian Big Wave Champion; Rusty Keaulana (Russ K), three-time Longboard World Champion and part of the first family of Hawai'i surfing; Spam, Primo's official "Bombucha;" and Lanai, a top DJ on 98.5 in Oahu. The Bruddahs will spread a taste of Hawai'i with California natives Brad Gerlach, International Big Wave Champion and acclaimed surfer and filmmaker, Chris Malloy - who will both join along on the tour.
