Art San Diego kicks off Thursday for a four-day art experience featuring more than a thousand pieces of art from around the world.
The show, considered one of the top cultural events in San Diego, features artwork ranging from the masters to new, emerging artists.
"We've got video interactive pieces of art where literally you become part of the art, we've also got a whole immersive art experience out in front of Art San Diego,” said spokesperson Linda Mariano.
The event runs Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. at the Balboa Park Activity Center.
Among the events will be a silent disco where participants enjoy the artwork while listening to music through headphones. Separate admission is required for the event. Get info here.
General admission tickets are $10 to $25, depending on the number of days you attend.
