Shannen Doherty’s return to the famous zip code of her youth was short and sweet. The actress is leaving ‘90210’ even before the paint on the new Peach Pit has dried, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“Shannen was signed to do four episodes, and we’ve always made it clear we’d love for her to do more. There’s a possibility for her to come back,” a rep for the CW show told Access.
Brenda may be saying “buh-bye” to Beverly Hills, but Kelly, played by Jennie Garth, will be sticking around — at least for a little bit longer.

“Jennie has been confirmed for 5 more episodes,” the ‘90210’ rep added.
As for reports that Shannen was in the midst of pitching a show which interfered with more “90210”, a rep for the actress told Access she is not trying to get a new series off the ground.
