Friday night is finally here, and we're in the best place in the world: We get to kick off San Diego Beer Week! I haven't seen too many music and beer combo events, but there's no reason the two can't mix with pre-gaming at a beer event and closing your night with live music -- all with a designated driver or ride share, of course. At the Casbah, you can catch British crooner Daley, Amerikan Bear are at the Tower Bar, and the Widows wil play at the Til Two. Legend Art Garfunkel is at the Poway Center for the Perfoming Arts, while YelaWolf gets down at Porter's Pub at UCSD. If you're game for a road trip, celebrate Casbah owner Tim Mays' birthday at Pappy and Harriet's in Joshua Tree for a free show with Transfer, the Silent Comedy and others. It's only a few hours away and one of the coolest places to see music in Southern California.
