It's too bad that Monday isn't a holiday, because even on a Sunday, San Diego's scene is fire. Lake Street Dive return with a long sold out show at the Belly Up while Umphrey's McGee play at the Observatory. It's probably unfortunate the two can't just swap venues because it would probably make more sense. Either way, expect those to be good ones. Lettuce is back in town with a show at Music Box, and pop-star-on-the-rise Wrabel plays House of Blues. In my circle of friends, everyone is really looking forward to Andy Shauf and Aldous Harding at the Casbah, and of course I always have a soft spot for the whackiness of Bob Log III, who is returning to Soda Bar.
