With this extended holiday weekend there's going to be great partying. Enjoy Avalon Tattoo's 24th anniversary with live music at the Casbah for free. It's one of San Diego's best-known tattoo shops and was known for being in a part of town where sailors would get Mom inked after a night boozing in Tijuana. The anniversary lineup includes the Marsupials, Low Volts, Ghetto Blaster and Not in the Face. Early arrival is highly suggested, because the small venue will be at capacity throughout the night. If tattooed bodies aren't your bag, Tin Can Ale House, Whistle Stop, Soda Bar and the Griffin all tout great lineups to check out.
