There are certainly a lot of rumors surrounding the Observatory at the moment, but I was assured that after some "maintenance issues" the venue would be in business tonight when Outkast's Big Boi takes the stage. An always outstanding showman and performer, it's certain to be a fun night. Meanwhile at the Casbah, our Florida buddies Surfer Blood are back with "Snowdonia," indie-rockers Fossil Youth play Soda Bar, and Tower Bar has a killer lineup with Portland punk-rockers Mean Jeans and Dirty Fences.
