Sounds Like San Diego: Feb. 5

Sometimes it's worth seeing bands you may not really know. For me, Lucius is one of those bands, and I'm embarassed the band missed my radar until now. Perhaps it's their Berklee background, but the harmonic vocals of these ladies is pretty incredible, and the quirky indie rock of their bandmates make this a band worth seeing. Unfortunately, as I'm writing this, I discovered that the show is already sold out, which means you'll have to swoon for the backup plan, Peggie Sue at Soda Bar, or get up to the Loft at UCSD to catch Branches, Dresses and Cumulus.  I guess I have some catching up to do!
