If you didn't plan ahead for this weekend, you might just be out of luck on some of the top shows. For example, the Lawrence Arms bring their punk rock to the Casbah and the show has been sold out for weeks. Meanwhile, Las Vegas' Imagine Dragons, whose first show was at the Casbah a handful of years ago, is now a breakout artist with crossover appeal to pop radio fans and are playing at Valley View Casino Center. That venue is notorious for tickets called "production holds", so if you're looking to get into the show, you might try the box office early in the afternoon and see if more seats have been released. Probably the big show of the night will be at the Griffin, with (Crosses), who sold out the Casbah last year and are playing a first come, first served show sponsored by 91x with tickets selling for 91 cents. Lots of good stuff tonight, so if you just check out your regular stomps like Tower Bar or Soda Bar, you're still going to have a pretty rocking night.
