Sounds Like San Diego: April 22

We made it through another gorgeous weekend in San Diego which sometimes brings on the worst case of the Mondays. Fortunately, the music can save you this Monday, whether you have tickets to the sold-out Belly Up show featuring the Gaslight Anthem or if you're heading to the Irenic for He Is We. Anti-Monday League at the Casbah features great up-and-coming San Diego bands, while David Frances takes the helm at Tin Can Country Club. But he best bet, in my humble opinion, is over at the Soda Bar where the Wheeler Brothers are joined by Oh Spirit and Golden Beaches to carry on the folky revival music that has taken over a place in our indie-rock hearts and a sound that has even gone mainstream. These guys do it and they do it well, so get a taste and leave your Monday blues behind.
